Strawberry and mango chia pudding

Strawberry and mango chia pudding: A great of way of using our baobab and strawberry compote (see earlier recipe). Packed full of vitamin C, calcium and rich in fibre this simple and delicious recipe is great for a mid afternoon snack or after dinner treat.


Serves 1-2
First layer & third layer
1/2 cup of milk or your choice of non dairy milk
2tsp chia seeds
1tsp vanilla extract

Second layer:
1tsp rawbeing organic baobab powder
1 banana
1/3 cup of frozen fruit - we used mangos
1/3 cup of natural yogurt or non dairy yogurt

14 strawberries halved
1tsp chia seeds
1tsp of organic baobab powder
Splash of cold water
Squeeze of lemon juice

Mix all the ingredients for the first layer in a bowl and leave to set in the fridge for 6-8 hours or preferably overnight.
When set spoon half of the chia pudding into a small glass or serving dish.
Blend the ingredients for the second layer until smooth and pour over the first layer.
Spoon the remaining chia pudding over the second layer and pop back in the fridge whilst you prepare the final layer.
Put the fourth layer ingredients in a saucepan on a low heat and simmer until a jam like consistency. Use a pita or masher to break down any lumps of fruit. Top the chia pudding with the final layer and enjoy 😊 Any left over jam can be used to top your morning porridge the next day

Cacao & coconut cookies 🍪.

Sunday’s are for homemade cookies and tea 💚.
This is a delicious and simple recipe using our organic cacao powder to make healthier cookies 😋👇🏻.
🍫 🥥
  • 150g oat flour
  • 120g rolled oats
  • 15g desiccated coconut
  • 30g of melted coconut oil
  • 5tbs of RAWBEING organic cacao powder
  • 150ml of maple syrup

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with grease proof paper. Mix all the ingredients together a bowl. Roll into balls and flatten slightly in the centre. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Salted Maca Fudge

Our famous, homemade ‘Salted Maca Fudge’. We’ve sampled this a few times and it went down a storm, so here is the recipe 😋👇🏻.



200g of smooth peanut butter or almond butter 

1tsp of vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract 

6 medjool dates 

2 tbsp organic RAWBEING Maca powder 

2tsp of honey or coconut sugar 

2tbsp of tahini 

Pinch of salt 


Place the dates in water to soak (removing stones before) for 5 minutes 

Place all other ingredients into a blender - add the dates

Blend until smooth and creamy

Spoon the mixture into a tray with a layer of baking paper underneath

Place into the freezer for around 2 hours until firm. Remove 30 mins before serving to soften a little. This can be made into little squares and wrapped and then into a glass jar for a homemade gift idea.

Cacao Hot Chocolate

Our organic cacao powder is perfect for making a healthier hot chocolate.


 Serves 1

  • 1 cup of milk or non dairy alternative 
  • 2-3 teaspoons of RAWBEING Organic cacao powder
  • Optional honey to sweeten


  • Pour the milk into a saucepan and slowly heat
  • Mix the cacao powder with a small amount of hot water in a cup 
  • Stir the cacao into the hot milk (use a coffee whisk) or just stir until desired consistency

Halloween Brownies

Don't throw away the left overs from your halloween pumpkin 🎃. Instead, why not make these delicious Cacao + Pumpkin brownies with a maca & peanut butter icing.

For the brownies:

Firstly wash the pumpkin making sure the inside has already been taken out. Then slice into thick wedges. Drizzle with a little oil and roast for 90 minutes at 170 degrees. Once cooled discard the skin and blend into a puree. 

300g of pumpkin puree
2/3 cup of almond butter or other nut butters
1 cup of cacao powder
Optional  - 1 scoop of protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1 tsp of all spice or cinnamon
1/4 cup of coconut sugar
2 eggs
2/3 cup of ground almonds
1 tsp baking powder

Optional tbsp of crushed hazelnuts or cacao nibs add to the mixture before baking. 


Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl then
Add all the wet ingredients. Mix with a blender or fork.

Line a baking tray tin with baking paper and spoon in the mixture.

Bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
Leave to cool.

For the icing:

Pumpkin, maca peanut butter icing.


1tsp of maca powder

1/3  cup of pumpkin purée

1 tsp cinnamon

2 Tbsp peanut butter

Pinch of sea salt


Mix all the ingredients together with a spoon or food processor.

then top spread over the brownie's. 

sprinkle with cacao nibs.

Baobab Hot Toddy

The perfect tonic for the changing seasons~ Baobab Hot Toddy. A soothing, warming and uplifting immune boost. 

1tbs RAWBEING organic baobab powder

1tbs cinnamon powder

2-3 tsp Honey (coconut sugar for vegans)

3 bags of Rooibos tea

2 star anise

A handful of lemon thyme 

1 small lemon 

Mix the boabab powder with the cinnamon and honey in a bowl.

Brew the tea with 4 cups of almost boiling water - allow to cool slightly


Add the thyme and star anise to the teapot. 

Stir in the spiced honey mixture and pour in the lemon juice.


Stir well and pour into mugs through a tea strainer or sieve 💕

Maca Peanut Butter Balls

We offered samples of this recipe at The South Downs Green Fair ~ it’s fair to say that they went down a treat. 😋

Makes 22 balls 


100g peanut butter (or a nut butter of your choice)

1 cup of dates, pitted & soaked in water for 20min

1/2 cup of ground almonds 

4 tablespoons of RAWBEING organic maca powder

4 tablespoons of maple syrup 

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract 

1/4 cup of chia seeds

1/2 cup of sesame seeds

Method :

Toast the sesame seeds in a small frying pan and put to one side

Add dates, peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a food processor and pulse until a smooth mixture forms.

Add the Maca powder, salt and ground almonds and mix until a sticky, cookie dough consistency.

Place mixture into a large bowl

Mix the chia seeds with the toasted sesame seeds in a separate bowl.

Roll the mixture into 22 balls.

Place each bowl into the chia/ sesame mix until evenly coated.

Place balls in an airtight container, into the fridge for 1 hr to set.

Cacao, Fig & Orange Balls

1 cup almonds
¼ cup hazelnuts
5 dried figs
5 medjool dates, pitted
4 tbsp RAWBEING cacao powder
Grated zest ½ orange
2 tbsp coconut oil

Pinch of seasalt

¼ cup RAWBEING cacao nibs
1tbs of juice from the orange


Remove the hard stems from the figs, and soak the figs and dates in a bowl of water for 15 – 20 minutes.

Blend the almonds and hazelnuts until they form a fine crumb. Add the cacao, seasalt and orange zest and pulse to mix. Drain the figs and dates and add to the food processor along with the coconut oil, blending until it comes together. If it is too dry, add a little more orange juice. Transfer the mixture from the food processor into al bowl and mix the cacao nibs in using a wooden spoon.

Roll the mixture into small balls, using your hands. Lightly dust with a little cacao powder (optional)   Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Baobab, Turmeric & Lemon Fizz balls

Baobab, Turmeric & Lemon Fizz balls

Makes 40 balls 


2 tbsp RAWBEING Baobab powder
2 cup cashew nuts
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup dates
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp turmeric powder
Up to 3 tbsp of lemon juice
Zest of 2 lemons 


Mix 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut with the turmeric powder. Put to one side

Add the rest of the coconut, cashews, chia seeds and baobab to a food processor and blitz to a fine crumb. Then add the dates, lemon zest and 2 tbsp of lemon juice and blitz again until sticky enough to roll. Only add the third tbsp of lemon juice if mixture is looking too dry. Make into small, evenly sized balls.

Sprinkle your turmeric/coconut onto a chopping board and roll the balls until evenly coated.

Place in fridge to cool for 20 min

Baobab-Berry Yollies

Makes 4 yollies
  • 1-2 tsp of RAWBEING organic baobab power
  • 1 cup natural yogurt (or any yogurt of your choice)
  • 1 cup raspberries 
  • 1/2 cup of blackberries
  • 1tbsp maple syrup
  • 1tsp vanilla extract


Blend all the ingredients together until smooth, pour into ice lolly moulds, and place in the freezer to set. ❄️
